It was Saturday evening around 6:30pm when I received a call. It was the most divine moment. Amma’s voice made me forget the world around me. “I am going to Thiruvananthapuram tomorrow morning to see Ananthapadmanabha.”
Only after we reached Kerala on Sunday morning at 10:30 am did we become aware of our divine Mother’s protective purpose for being there. One of our Sanatana Yatri from Kerala had been receiving darshan and guidance from Amma through her dreams. She saw Amma in her dream standing at the seashore and telling her something. That’s when Jyothi called Amma to say that she couldn’t understand what Amma was instructing. So the divine Mother decided to be at the shores of Thiruvananthapuram the very next day. (By now all of us know Amma’s silence in carrying out her divine mission beyond human capabilities). So Amma remained silent all the while, keeping us happy yet addressing each one’s needs.
By 11:00 am on Sunday, we were at Ananthapadmanabha Temple. It was a special day. Probably people from the entire town were in the temple. Jyothi took Amma through the eastern gate.
Upon entering the temple, our divine Mother disappeared from our sight for an hour. It felt like Amma vanished into a subtle form. Amma’s physical presence is such that no one can just miss the sight of Mother’s presence. All of us, including Jyothi, who was with Amma, went in search of Amma in different directions. We checked everywhere and there were only two gates. Everyone had different thoughts running through their minds. It had never happened before in any of our visits. We were clueless, and a few were restless.
After looking for Amma everywhere, we saw smiling Krishna in Amma walking towards us with her divine smile. We all sat near a mantapa (a stone structure) in the temple premises. Amma told us in her joyful way, “Amma has come till here, and now it is Ananthapadmanabha who has to come out to receive Mother.” Saying so, Amma closed her eyes. Within five minutes, we heard drums, nadaswaram, big diyas, and saw a procession of idols of Ananthapadmanabha and other deities carried by priests coming out in a line. All this was to acknowledge Amma’s arrival, and what a divine sight it was to witness.
After the procession, nearly 10,000 people waiting to go near the Sanctum Sanctorum were allowed to have darshan of Ananthapadmanabha. Our divine Mother said, “Let everyone go in; we shall go after all of them.” We were the last ones to enter the Sanctum Sanctorum. The huge, heavy doors closed after Amma had her silent talk with Ananthapadmanabha. We were blessed to witness such a divine moment, which can never be expressed in words.
Gratitude to the divine Mother 🙏🙏

I’m Jyothi from Trivandrum, Kerala. I have been guided by Bhagwan Sri Satya Saibaba throughout my life and have always felt connected to the Shiva aspect of the divine, rather than the Shakti aspect.
Two years ago, while meditating in my Puja room and listening to the Arunachala Shiva bhajan, Amma suddenly appeared behind me. This experience was so blissful that I messaged Amma for the first time. She assured me of her presence and blessed me. Since then, I have been blessed with many dreams of Amma. Even when Swami guided me to have a Shiva statue made, Amma appeared in my dream and instructed me to consecrate it.
Swami has guided a few of us to chant the Lalitha Sahasranama for the protection of Kerala, as it can bring the Shakti to this land. 🙏
I would like to share my experience on the second day in Kanyakumari, following my sister’s narration of the Padmanabha episode. Kanyakumari has always been a part of Kerala. While driving towards the Ananth Padmanabha temple on Sunday, I showed Amma the road to Kanyakumari. Amma nodded, indicating her willingness to visit Kanyakumari, but we were planning Amma’s satsang at my place on Monday. However, after the Google Meet session with Amma on Sunday, I received a strong divine message, which I perceived as guidance from Swami, instructing me to arrange a trip to Kanyakumari. I messaged Amma about this at 10 pm.
The next morning, we started our journey at 5:30 am in a 26-seater tempo traveler. All the arrangements fell into place quickly. Except for the seven who had come with Amma from Bangalore, the rest of us were meeting Amma for the first time. Amma asked me to sit beside her, but I mentioned that I usually get dizzy while traveling. She gave me a motherly pat, pulled my ears, and reassured me, saying, “What dizziness when Mother is there?” and made me sit near her. Initially, I was worried about Amma’s comfort in such a small space, but those thoughts soon vanished. I felt Amma moving closer to me, and eventually, I felt like a small child cuddled in her divine embrace. Amma sat with her eyes closed, and I experienced divine energy penetrating every cell of my body.
This reminded me of a dream I had a month ago, where I saw myself as a small child cuddled next to Amma while traveling in a bus. I had shared this dream with Amma, and she said it was a blessing.
We reached Kanyakumari at 8:30 am, and there was a small crowd at the temple. An old man guided Amma and the team to the temple via a route I had never seen before. Typically, even with a VIP ticket, the entry is through another door that follows a clockwise direction. The man, with tears in his eyes, addressed and spoke to Amma. I told Amma about the usual entry, but she said to let the man guide us. He led us directly in front of the Devi Kanyakumari, and it was a pleasant sight to see the idol draped in a green and red border saree, exactly like the one Amma was wearing.
After darshan, we visited the Vivekananda Rock. Amma made us sit and meditate there. The experience under her energy was beyond words; we felt transported to another world. Amma did not speak; it was all silent. Sitting with the Divine Mother and soaking in that energy was a wonderful experience. I owe great gratitude to Swami for connecting us to the Divine Mother and for Amma’s grace and unconditional love as she stepped into Kerala.
We are still in a divine hangover, flooded with energy we have never experienced before. We are all eagerly awaiting to be part of the Shakti Yagna.
