I would like to recall an experience during our visit to the cave in Rishikesh.
The Nagasadhu, no sooner than he saw Amma, became like a calf, jumped around with joy after seeing it’s mother. He was moving here and there; he was climbing the tree and hanging upside down; again he would run to Amma and just look into her eyes and again ran here and there. Later when we sat in the cave, he closed his eyes and went into a trance. After 30 minutes or so, his body movements resembled a snake. His eyes turned red but none of us were scared as Amma was sitting there looking at him with so much love and compassion.
We were there till late evening and he was just looking into Amma’s eyes and in between he told us that he was doing his sadhana in a cremation ground for 11 years and as per the guidance of his guru he had come to that cave.
But through out he did not speak a word to Amma.
The next day we were leaving for Bangalore and he requested us to come to his place in the morning but since we had to pack our luggage and leave for the airport, Amma asked him to come to the hotel at 9:30am before she left for the airport.
Next morning he was at the gate waiting for Amma as he had arrived there at 5am. We came to know later when brother Gopi went down around 9am to check if he had come.
Later Amma came down and sat with him in the hotel restaurant and again there was not a single word from him. He sat and was looking at Amma and Amma told us that they were the one’s who were doing Amma’s work silently. And little did we know that Amma showed him some hand gesture/mudra to be adapted as a part of his sadhana. Later, while leaving, he told us that Amma knows everything and he does not have to speak to Amma verbally and he told us that he conversed with Amma through the Ajna Chakra/ subtle energy.
After he left, we were all silent, not knowing what to speak. Such a sadhu was waiting for Amma at the gate and here we were staying with Amma in the hotel. It was truly an eye opener for us to value our existence and the proximity we were blessed with. Amma was available to all of us and she was feeding her children as per the capacity of the child to digest it.
Pranam and gratitude to the Nagasadhu who reminded us to value our opportunity of being with the divine Mother.

To which Amma replied
Loving child. Anything that makes you feel light and helps you to be calm within is the sadhana meant for you. Be happy, stay humble. My love to all
