Few of us from Yuvashakti were blessed to travel with Amma to Gonibeedu village in Chikmagalur district. Amma took us to dieties around her birth place which are within 2 kilometers radius.
We were blessed to have relived the ancient Indian culture of acknowledging the presence of dieties prior to conducting the auspicious occasion , we all experienced that Amma was conversing with each dieties regarding upcoming Shakti yajna and when many were asking Yajna date Amma said she will decide after visiting all the dieties in her native.
First we visited River Hemavati and offered gratitude to the holy river,then we visited
Adi Subhramanya Temple ( This place where Lord Subhramanya killed demon Gonasure that is how this place is known as Gonibeedu. Subhramanya is son of Shiva and Parvati Ma) then Anjaneja Temple,Choudeshwari Temple,Vishnu Temple and local kshetra Palaki Devi Maramma.
In each place Amma narrated the stories related to the temple and how every story is connected to Amma’s avatar to be taken place in this place and the purpose of performing Shakti Yajna
