By the gentle stroke of the paintbrush was born the picturesque journey – the Adi Kailash Yatra. Not just units of memories stored deep within but footprints of Maa invading every space of our inner being – Ma’s smile of compassion, laughter & frolic, deep voice that stirred our souls to rise up from our deep sleep.
Theological terms were meaningless till Ma stepped in.
“Do not be judgmental, be humble, think of others, care for others, be tender & kind, celebrate your self, be perfect leaders – resonated from her every moment, not just in words but by Her every action. Though she is a demystified Goddess, the Adi Shakthi, She humbled herself to be amidst us.
Ma’s scripts are easy to understand, set in the depth of a vedantic understanding of ourselves in God. She became the Guru who dwelt among us & taught us through her play.
She taught us to love all, love every situation. Everywhere she would call out – “Mahadev, I love you”.
Patal Bhuvaneshwar:
Inside the 160 meter long limestone cave, after a brief period of reverie, Ma sat in silent meditation in the cave that housed the Shivlingam. Gradually we moved out, retracting our steps to the earlier spacious entry to the cave. Soon Ma followed, retrieving our thoughts, submerging us into her consciousness. She stood in tranquil immunity protecting us from the ravages of our own thoughts, words & action. “Do not touch me” echoed her voice as I stand in your presence. Later, on enquiry, she said we would burn to ashes if we did touch as her energy was in fullness & raised to the highest frequency. All I know is that the outcome was that we were all in total peace beyond all understanding.
She is Adishakti, limiting herself in her Glory. For us, it was death of our physical presence momentarily, to a new birth in consciousness.
OM Parvat:
At an elevation of 5590m (18,340 ft) was a sight par excellence. Ma left us all in stupified silence as she gifted us with the varied seasons at Her Will – the rain, sun, falling leaves in the cool gush of breeze & flakes of snow, welcoming us. We were floating in reverie, knowing that the command to the elements were whispered by MA to shower us with spirit-filled euphoria.
A sight to humbly applaud was the alphabets “AmmA” written in snow on Seshnag Parvat. God so loved this world that He had given His Ma to teach us to love Him, celebrate Him, in us.
Adi-Kailash:
An elevation of 6310 mts (19,500ft) Ma reminded us that Shiva is silence, She is the movement. Everything dances, all is still.
‘Be still & know that I am God’. The journey to ‘Adi Kailash’ was just this. Our baby steps were our journey of total surrender to the ecstatic beauty around us, vast expanses. The journey from day 1 was the test of our transformation, our resilience, our practice of all Truths revealed to us till then. We were silent witnesses to our epicentre – Ma. A mystical beauty, a consciousness that revolutionized my inner being with clarity. A silent inner revolution to advocate a ‘new earth’. Ma taught us in that moment – total ‘surrender’ and led us to the greatest gift within us – from Ma was ‘the ecstacy of Love’.
I was in my absolute tranquil state where I witnessed Lord Shiva’s huge footprint encased in an anklet on the peak of Kailash. Tears rolled down in my heart. Maa sat in stillness gazing at all her creation revering her. As we venerated her, She also shed tears.
She is beyond all we know & understand. But we were being taught to watch, emulate & live simple.
Haidakhan Ashram
Maa said Haidakhan Ashram’s visit would complete our Adi Kailash Yatra. As I crawled through the cave where the young Guru had emerged from – to be in Ma’s presence, her inner glow cut through like a sword to touch my core – become more in her likeness; Much later, in the open, we danced to the rhythm within us, around Ma & with her during Tara’s keertan; we were moving towards a heavenly kingdom, where Ma revealed simple Truths in simple language, thus teaching us the mysteries of divine knowledge. As we gazed into the sanctum, an yellow flower became the image of Bhagwan Baba smiling at Ma and at all of us. To Her belongs the glory, honor and adoration.
As we ate, Ma also served us — laughing joyfully, She softly spoke that the ‘roti rolling pin’ would be her new weapon – teaching that service to mankind is an easy road to our own liberation; we dipped & let go of our old selves in the Gautami river, we hugged the Sati tree – through all this Ma’s vibrant teachings became a clarion call to ‘arise & awake’.
So she continued throughout, till we ended the journey, her words of light & beauty –
‘Comparison breeds duality, be absorbed in that moment with whoever & wherever, do not feed negative energies by even dwelling on it or giving rise to a speck of doubt as we would only flame negative energies, love unconditionally’.
