Years ago, I came to Amma, drawn by an inner pull. When I first met Amma, I prayed for vibhuti for my husband’s good health, hoping Amma would create it for me. But Amma casually gave me vibhuti from a small box.After being with Amma and going through deep inner churning, a few weeks ago I was sitting in front of Amma. Amma’s eyes were closed, and it seemed as though she was in another realm. All of a sudden, I began to see vibhuti on Amma’s forehead — the Tripund appeared very clearly. I rubbed my eyes again and again to make sure I wasn’t hallucinating.
After some time, Amma opened her eyes and gave me a beautiful message:
“You came to Amma expecting vibhuti, but your surrender has made you capable of having the darshan of Vibhutidhari — the One smeared with ash, symbolizing inner nothingness, the Shiva consciousness within. This is not the end. Become one with THAT.”
