Pranams to all.
Can we ever thank our divine mother for her love and compassion.
Every year our family visits our Kula Devata (Family Deity) ‘Ma Vedha Nayaki’ temple near Krishnagiri which is in Tamil Nadu. We have a saree shop in Malleshwaram, Bangalore.
Early in the morning we went to the temple and offered a saree to Devi which the priest draped on Mother’s idol. As soon as the saree was draped after the Abhishekam, both my husband and myself instantly felt that the idol smiled at us and we saw our beloved Amma’s face in the idol. It gives me goosebumps even writing about it.
While we were returning to Bangalore we received a call from neighbouring shop owners telling us that water had seeped into all the shops in that lane after heavy rainfall the previous night and that were getting it cleaned. They were more concerned about us since ours was the saree shop.
Amma’s teachings and guidance kept me balanced and I told my husband that there was nothing to worry about since Amma had visited our shop and that her blessings would always render protection. We submitted to Amma’s will.
I immediately called Amma and to my great fortune Amma received my call and I conveyed the message. Amma calmly said “You had gone to offer a saree to Amma in Krishnagiri. Will I not take care of your sarees here? Blessings, everything is fine”.
Soon after reaching Bangalore, we rushed to our shop and as we opened the shutter, we witnessed Mother’s unconditional love and protection. There was not even a single drop of water inside our shop!
We had no words to express our gratitude. We surrender at Amma’s divine lotus feet.
