We all wanted to visit the Golden beach yesterday with Amma in the early hours.(Amma and Sanatana Yatris visited Puri , Orissa from 28-3-24 to 1-4-24)
Temperature is above 38°c here in Puri, Odisha. So we were planning to visit the beach at 5am and to be back in hotel by 7am.
Previous evening we had visited Sun temple and Amma in her casual way spoke to sun god saying .Surya, can you be behind the clouds tomorrow when we visit the beach, as an offering to mother?And believe me, yesterday entire time it was cloudy in Puri, even the locals told us that they are seeing such a pleasant weather for the first time.
We spent from morning 5am to 10am in beach in a most pleasant climate, yesterday we had the darshan of sun only twice and that too in his most pleasant form, once while he was rising and second time in the evening while he was setting during the Jagannath temple gopuram flang changing ceremony and rest of the time the Sun was completely hiding behind the clouds🙏🏻
I wanted to share a picture I clicked while Amma was playing with little baby Tarini in the beach. Baby’s hand gesture made the picture look like Amma is playing with little Krishna Jagannatha who is wearing the crown.
Its Amma’s grace that I could capture such loving picture in Puri Jagannath’s place 🙏🏻

once in 12 to 29 years lord Jagannatha’s idol (made of wooden plank) is replaced and Mata Mangala Devi gives the instructions to choose the right wooden plank to carve the idol of lord Jagannatha
