We have heard of the story of Sri Rama , the story of Sri Krishna and we are mesmerised reading about Vanaras and Gopi Gopala’s experience of being with the divine in human form. But we are not ready to accept our own fortune of being with the Mother herself. Mother is available to us as we want. I used to address Amma as Achi but I don’t see any changes in her. She is the same – as loving and divine as always. But as we are tuning ourselves to her energy, Amma is ready to bestow us with inconceivable experiences to remind us how capable we are to be in the present, to experience the highest.
Last week I was at Amma’s place and it was around 11 am. Amma was saying how all the 14 lokas were present here and how one was capable of tuning into that state. I asked Amma about Vaikunta and Vishnu as Ananta Shayana ( the one who is sleeping on the serpent Ananta).
Amma started narrating how mother Adi Shakti encompasses Sri Vishnu into Yoga Nidra (Vishnu reclines over the still cosmic waters on the endless coils of the serpent Ananta Sesha, which represents time. Everything that existed before the Mahapralaya lies around Him in the still primeval waters. This cosmic sleep is known as Yoga Nidra. Here He was focused on the Infinite Reality of His own identity). Amma was narrating the story of how during the war with demons Shumba and Nishumba, Lord Brahma and Shiva prayed to Mother Adi Shakti to withdraw her yoga maya form from Vishnu which had put him into a cosmic sleep.
Amma thus ended the narration of the state of Ananta Shayana. As Amma uttered the word Ananta Shayana, Amma closed her eyes and slipped in to a deep trance. I remember seeing Amma uptil then. After that I do not remember how I slipped into the deepest sleep state which I had never experienced. I don’t know for how long I was in that state where I was sucked in to shunya and when I opened my eyes I felt like I was just born out of the mother’s womb. After some time I noticed that I was in such a deep sleep that I had to wipe the saliva from my mouth while I was drooling. Amma just smiled at me saying “ANANTA SHAYANA”.
