Don’t wait for one particular day to celebrate—every day should be a celebration. Life is a game—play it.
Each one of you must have played the game of connecting the dots in your childhood. When your teacher handed you a sheet to connect the dots, there was no fear, because it was a game you enjoyed the most. Each dot had a number, and by connecting them, you knew you would eventually see the final picture—something you were excited about.
In the same way, every experience you come across in life is like a dot. Learn to enjoy connecting these dots. In school, you learned numbers, which made it easy to play the game. Similarly, in life, have complete faith—there is a Guru to guide and guard you. Then it becomes easy to connect the dots.
Every experience, whether good or bad, success or failure, does not matter. What truly matters is keeping your focus on the final picture of your journey—knowing your own Self, your Divine Self. When you know the Guru is there to help, guide, and protect you, life becomes a play to be enjoyed.
So, on this Ugadi, I assure you that I am with you, in you, and around you. Enjoy the journey of connecting the dots. Do not hold on to any one experience. Do not dwell on it or waste your time. Be happy to move on, because everything that happens in your life is meant to give you a better understanding of your own Self.
That is why life becomes beautiful when you learn to move on. Whatever the experience may be, take the lesson from it and move forward. Continue enjoying the process of connecting the dots, and you will surely see the final picture—that you are your Divine Self.
