Adi Kailash Diaries

Walking every step in the company of your divine self, celebrating your existence itself is the true destination, true Kailash!

This booklet is a verbal translation of our Amma’s divine messages, devotee experiences and unimaginable miracles which were manifested on Amma’s divine command during the Adi Kailash Yatra.

The day Amma announced about the yatra in the group, there were approximately 30 registrations within 2 hours and after consulting the trip coordinators, we arranged for a total of 45 seats.

Adi Kailash officially opens to the public after May 20th but the next slot was available for the last week of May and Amma spoke to Surenderji ( Adi Kailas Yatra Organiser from Dharchula) to check if we could get a date after May 10th because of Karnataka election.

Surender allotted us 14th to 20th of May and asked us to arrive in Haldwani in Uttarkhand state by 13th May.  Amma had asked us to book return tickets for 22nd of May.

Amma had asked Sai Tulsi and Sudarshan to coordinate with Surenderji. On 11th of May we received a call from Surenderji saying the Adi Kailash route was closed because of heavy rain and snowfall. It could take over a week to clear the road. He was surprised when we responded politely asking him to continue with the arrangements and that Amma would take care of the rest.

He called Amma directly and Amma told him not to worry. Surenderji was totally confused and on 12th morning he called us and said that the road which connects Dharchula to Nabi is closed due to a massive landslide. He was helpless and asked us to postpone the yatra dates for June.

Once again he called Amma directly and Amma told him “Chinta mat karo bache, Maa khud aa rahi hi, sab kuch theek hojayega. Mai sambhalungi. Aap taiyari karo, hum kal subhah Bangalore se nikal rahe he. (Don’t worry my child, mother is coming, everything will be fine. I will take care of everything. You make the arrangements, we are leaving from Bangalore tomorrow morning).”

All this was not known to any other yatris and everyone eagerly waited to meet Amma at the airport the next morning.

On 12th evening Surenderji calls and says “Maatha Rani aap ki jai ho. Apne rasta khulwadiya, government ne JCB beja hai aur kaam shuru ho gaya aur teen din me rasta ready hoga (Jai Matha, you have cleared the road. The government has sent the JCB and  the road will be cleared in 3 days which was the day we were to reach Dharchula)”. He told us that he never came across such a group who were so calm while he himself was so worried.

Next morning we all reached the airport at 6:30am and all the incidents that happened from then till our last day were like holding the mother’s pallu and flying to a different Loka and coming back. Even the best airplane and pilot would not have been able to compete.

Day 1 : Blessings and Beginnings

The day we had all been eagerly waiting for arrived and we gathered at the airport at 6:30am waiting our beloved Amma. Brother Gopinath who works at the airport had made all the arrangements and as soon as Amma arrived, she told him she wanted to be with all of us instead of entering through the VIP gate. Ma joined us all and enveloped us in her warm, divine hug.

Amma’s presence has always attracted people around her and many would approach Amma for her blessings. One such person who came to Amma at the airport was film director Sai Prakash,  Bhagwan Sri Satya Sai Baba’s devotee who has directed more than 100 movies.

He directed and acted as Shirdi Saibaba in the movie “Bhagwan Saibaba”. When he went to get Swami’s blessing before the release, Swami sat with him in the Whitefield ashram auditorium and for the first time watched the entire movie along with devotees.

Interestingly, in 1995 he had prayed to Bhagwan that he wanted to make a movie on Satya Saibaba but was told by Swami that Anjali Devi is also making a movie on Swami so he can make the movie later and Swami blessed him saying it would happen at the right time. After all those years he was flying to Hyderabad to discuss the same movie and he was blessed by our loving Amma who promised to meet him once she returned from the Yatra.

We reached Haldwani that evening and after dinner Amma went out and sat in silence while all of us gathered around Amma. Later Amma told us that if you want to bring down the Tamasik energy then don’t think or talk about it, instead raise the Satvik energy by keeping your thoughts calm. That silent sitting was so powerful that we knew that Amma’s every action has a hidden divine Leela. On that very day the Anti Human trafficking unit succeeded in arresting a wanted trafficking mastermind and rescuing many women.

Day 2 : Tranquility of Shakti

Every moment with Amma is like tasting the nectar of being in the present. None of us were concerned with where we were going since we were all soaked in divine love. Listening to Amma, admiring Amma, running behind Amma, laughing, singing, dancing with the divine mother and being lost in her warm hugs were the highlights of our yatra.

We continued our journey from Haldwani to Pathal Bhuvaneshwar. On our way we visited Neem Karoli Babaji’s Ashram at Kainchi Dham – which is an Ashram and a Hanuman temple established by the great saint Shri Neem Karoli Baba in the 1960’s. Its a picturesque location, beside a flowing river which adds to the magnificent energy of that place.

After Kainchi Dham we visited the 8th Jyotirling – Jageshwar Dham, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. The main temple complex which is defined by a tall stone wall called Jageshwar Dham contains 124 big and small temples. We all were blessed with an opportunity to do Abhishekam to the Jyotirlinga.

Rakshith’s Experience: A Divine Capture

Amma had told me not to take my camera for the Adi Kailash Yatra. I felt that I should work on my photography skills and make Amma happy. On the trip, I was blessed to do aarti to Mrityanjai Shivalingam at Yogeshwardham while Amma was inside the Garbhagudi. Throughout the aarti my eyes were fixed on Amma while I was holding the arti plate.

After we exited, I thanked Amma for fulfilling a wish that I had prayed for when I was 15 years old ( 13 years ago). Amma patted my cheeks and blessed me with her warm hug. Later we all sat in a hotel for lunch and Amma was seated opposite me. Her beautiful face was staring at an empty space and something urged me to take out my phone camera and silently click a few pics. Amma then turned to me and said have you checked the pictures you just clicked? Later Amma told me that though she hadn’t given me permission to get my camera , I had been blessed to capture the most memorable moment. When I opened the gallery Amma was looking like Ma Kaali and here are the pics.

(Rakshith has shared his experience of having Mother’s darshan as Maha Kali and how he was blessed to capture that moment).

Day 3 : Patal Bhuvaneshwar - The Earth's Womb

Our morning in Patal Bhuvaneshwar had us dancing like birds in a glorious wind to divine tunes along with Mother – soaking in her Aura and charging up for what was going to be an eternal memory.

PATAL BHUVANESHWAR

Patal Bhuvaneshwar is a marvelous limestone cave temple located at Bhubaneswar village in Uttarakhand’s Kumaon region. It’s just not one cave but a city of caves. Each stone, each stalagmite within each cave or doorway in a magnificent erection reveals the story of Hindu pantheon in the shapes of Gods, Goddesses, saints and known mythological characters.

For a detailed look at Patal Bhuvaneshwar, one can follow http://hinduonnet.com/thehindu/fr/2003/05/23/stories/2003052301451000.htm

Amma told us that visiting the Pathal Bhuvaneshwar cave is the main purpose of this yatra and what she had revealed in Naimisharanya, during her visit in October 2022 about Brahmadev, is what brought her here. We reached Pathal Bhuvaneshwar at night and woke up the next day to the most beautiful darshan of mother nature. We were surrounded by lush green mountains and colorful flowers.

As we started towards the cave a huge swan shaped cloud appeared in the sky. Amma told me “look there, who is here to welcome us, that is Brahma Dev’s vahan(vehicle).” This had us excited and eager to know the revelations our mother would bring in the Pathal Bhuvaneshwar cave.

Visit to Pathal Bhuvaneshwar Cave

This cave is historically, culturally and spiritually powerful. The Skanda Puranas mention about the Saptha Rishis being in this cave. The Pandavas did penance here while Adi Shankaracharya had installed a Shivalingam here.

When we reached, the first glimpse of the cave’s entrance hinted at the divine experience we would have. We had to go 90 feet down through a narrow passage. Amma cheered us all saying “I will take each one of you and none of you are going to miss this beautiful experience”.

Amma was the first inside and we followed. From the youngest member who was 8 years old to the eldest one who was 68 years old, we all had the same excitement as we entered with our divine mother.

Words fail to express what we witnessed inside the cave because one has to see it to believe it. It was a new world inside the womb of Mother Earth (More information available on the  youtube videos).

After our guide took us through the cave, Amma asked everyone to sit in silence and She walked further towards a narrow passage and sat in complete silence. There were few other tourists and guides whose echoing voices disturbed that peace.

One Shhhhhhhhh from Amma made everyone go as quiet as a pin drop for the next 20 to 30 minutes. The power of Mother’s command was so great  that even the priest who was worshiping the Shiva lingam inside stopped chanting the mantra and sat in silence.

For the next 20 minutes we were all in a totally new Loka/ dimension. A powerful energy embraced us all and we were still like statues merged in divine Oneness.

After some time we sensed Amma coming towards us and when one brother stretched his hand to help Amma to cross the slippery rocks, Amma put her hands behind her back and told him to pass the message to not touch her or take her pada namaskar as soon as she comes out.

We all were stunned to look at Amma’s face as she came out and stood in front of us. Amma’s cheeks were shallow, her complexion was dark and her eyes were sparkling with fire. Amma stood there with her eyes closed for quite some time and then went like a wonderful wind across the slippery rocks without any support and sat on the steps inside the cave. We all followed Amma and stood at a distance not knowing how to approach Amma. Amma’s eyes were closed and her face was like glowing fire.

In that complete silence, we all waited  for Amma to open her eyes and look at us. Amma continued to be in that transcendental state when all of a sudden a powerful voice began to recite verses from Durga Sapthashati (describing the Goddess Durga/Adishakti as the supreme power and creator of the universe).

We all turned towards that voice and saw a blind man standing right in-front of Amma. His voice was magnetic and we wondered how he was able to cross that narrow passage and come down from the entrance.

As he continued, we saw Amma slowly opening her eyes and smiling at him. Then Amma  looked at the ceiling of the cave which was around 15 feet above where Amma was seated and we saw Vibhuti. Amma just looked around and smiled. It seemed as if there were many beings around Amma at that time.  As we have read in the Puranas, Rishi munis were praising mother and reciting verses to bring her back to her shanta swaroopa (peaceful form). We all felt the same historic moment manifest here before our very eyes.

Amma slowly got up and walked straight to that person and held his hand and touched his Ajna Chakra (It is our sixth chakra and is located in the center of the head, level with the center of the eyebrows). He exclaimed with joy saying My mother DURGA, KALI, CHAMUNDESHWARI is here. He removed his glasses and handed it over to the person who was assisting him and bent down searching for mother’s feet. Amma hugged him saying han mera bacha, me hi hun (yes my child, it’s me only).

He hugged Amma tightly and said Maa agayi , Maa aur Bache ka milne ka samay aagaya.  (Mother has come, the time has come for mother to meet her child.)

Below is their conversation.

Him : Maa, meri Durga ho tum. Jaise apne mere Ajna chakra sparsh ki meri pura sharir kamph raha hai jaise bijli mere sharir me sanchar kiya.

(Maa, you are my Durga. As soon as you touched the Ajna chakra my whole body started shivering like I had an electric shock passing through my body)

AMMA : Han bacha, muje dhekne keliye sharir ka ankhon ka kya jarurat hai? Tumne to Maa ko pehechan liya.

(Yes my child, physical eyes are not necessary to see me. You recognised the Mother.)

Him : Maa tum kaha se aayi? Kya tum isi gufa me rehti ho? Kya isiliye tum mujhe yaha tak bula ke layi?

(Mother where did you come from? Do you stay in this cave? Is this the reason you called me here?)

AMMA: Me waha se aayi jaha se tumne muje bulaya bacha , (unke dil per haath rakhe) Me yaha rehti hun.

(I came from where you called me. Then Amma kept her hands on his heart and said I reside here, my child. )

Him: Maa, kya me apke saath yaha rehe sakta hun?

(Maa, can I stay here with you).

Amma patted his head gently and looked at me and I went forward and told him, Brother we are a group of 44 people who are here with you in the cave. Amma physically stays in Bangalore and we are on our way to Adi Kailash. He asked his assistant to take my contact number and Amma started climbing up towards the exit.

After we all came out of the cave and were walking towards the Vridha Bhuvaneshwar Temple which is around 500 meters from the cave we noticed that same brother searching for Amma outside. Again Amma went to him. He was asking Amma to take him along with her saying he wanted to serve her. Amma promised him that once the Shakti Dham is complete then he will join her there.

As soon as we reached Vridha Bhuvaneshwar, Amma saw the priest and stretched her hand asking “Mera aaj ka Bhog kaha hai? Where is my bhog today (food offering). He then said that every morning he visits Pathal Bhuvaneshwar cave and offers food to the deity there. He told us Maata Rani herself is asking for food and so he went home and returned with the  special food he usually offered the deity which was sufficient for all of us.

What happened while Amma was seated there was later explained to all of us and we were in tears to hear that from the divine mother herself. We pray to Amma to make each one us capable of comprehending this divine truth.

From Pathal Bhuvaneshwar we continued our journey towards Dharchula.

Day 4 : Truths And Shakti At Darchula

Our next three days were spent traveling to Dharchula, Nabi and the beautiful Kutti village which was our last stay point before heading towards the holy Adi Kailash Parvat.

Our stay at Dharchula felt like a family gathered under one roof since we had booked the entire hotel. The dining hall turned into a satsang hall where our divine mother spent every second with us.

Being with the mother means Bhajan and Bhojan (food) as well. Our loving sister Harshita decided to surprise all of us by visiting the local market and returning with ingredients to prepare south Indian full meals (Rice, Sambhar, Rasam, Lemon rice, Papad, Kesaribath and Payasam). Even the hotel staff were welcomed to our celebration.

In the evening, Amma enlightened us on when Shakti takes over how Tridevs and Tridevis merge into that one source. There were interactive sessions about Adi Shakti and Adi Purusha, then about Tridevs and Tridevis and a beautiful narration about the 14 lokas.

In our experience, just observing Amma was a true meditation. Every second was a celebration of one’s highest and authentic self in her divine presence. Her love was so overpowering we would be streaming with tears of joy until she cracked a joke which would have us shaking with uncontrollable and genuine laughter.

Amma is limitless and cannot be defined by a few words. Finally when we fail to comprehend her and surrender to her feet saying “Amma you are everything” she will pat us and with a wink she would say “I’m nothingness”.

Day 5 : Clearing All Blocks With Love At Darchula

I’m the stillness, I’m the movement 🔱 For mother her Kailash is where her Shiva resides. Her oneness with Shiva remains same irrespective of the chilliness of the snow or the burning heat of Ashes 🤗🔱 Shiva is your stillness, Shakti is your movement.  I’m You!

As we were leaving Darchula, there were a flock of sheep lounging in the middle of the road. Amma joyously got down from her lead vehicle and joyously asked the sheep to give way. As all the vehicles passed by, Ma lovingly told the sheep, “Sorry sheeps, for disturbing your SLEEP”.

As we rose to higher altitudes (and also mentally), we arrived at Nabhi late at night where the temperatures had dropped drastically. While all of us were making ourselves comfortable with layers of winter clothing, Amma dressed in simple clothes and yet keeping us all warm and loved.

Day 6 : Om And Amma - The Cosmic Play

We briefly halted at an army post on the way to Om Parvat, from Nabi village. While some of us were admiring the changing landscapes of Shesh Parvat, brother Akhil spotted the words ‘AMMA’  written in English on one of the mountains in the snow. Mother Nature was indeed rejoicing and welcoming the Universal Mother, naturally.

OM PARVAT

OM Parvat is a miracle of nature where snow lies in the mountain in the shape of a perpetual OM, the primordial sound. Even if all the other slopes are bare, this inscription is everlasting and the observer gets a feeling of great sanctity and holiness.

When it was time to leave Om Parvat we were taking a group picture with Amma who asked us “Do you all want to see snow fall ? We all knew what was coming without hesitation said YES AMMAAAA.

But our agent told Amma, “No mataji, if it snows here then the road to Adi Kailash will be blocked. Amma smiled beautifully  and told him “teek hai, Bachonke ke liye toda sa Snow fall dhikati hun (Ok, for children sake will show them slight snowfall).

Amma then pointed at the mountain and it immediately started snowing and it looked like all the divine beings were putting Akshata on us all. After two minutes Amma looked knowingly  at the mountains and showed her Abhaya hasta and said that is enough, ending that divine natural play. Maa Adi Shakti playing with her creation.

The video below was shared by Somi, our guide, whose face is proof of the wonder of being observers of this divine play.

Day 7 : The Real Picture

SAI TULSI:

I must share one of the beautiful pictures which was captured by Arun which cannot be just a random click.

While we were sitting around Amma that night at the Kutti, many could feel the presence of different energies. Amma said don’t be fearful, they will not harm anyone.

We asked Amma about how Shiva Ganas and Shakti Yoginis operate and Amma beautifully explained how all of them are present around. Then I asked Amma how about Pathal Loka and if Amma is available to all of them as well to which Amma said “Are they not from the womb of the universal mother?”

I always ask Amma about pathal loka and Amma jokingly responds saying Tulsi you are incharge of Pathal loka. At that very moment Arun clicked a picture which shows me this way in my green jacket, next to the divine mother.

The entire thing is much beyond being a mere coincidence with the divine timing of Amma’s narration .

This serves as a beautiful reminder of Amma’s that everyone belongs to her and we should concentrate on the eternal and internal bonding that each of us shares with her, the rest she will take care of.

AMMA:

My beloved all. This birth is a beautiful opportunity to celebrate your role in the universal play. Everyone represents the different frequencies of  Trigunas/ energies.

As is the quality of the receiver, so is its capacity to connect to the signals. Same way if you want to see the changes in the world you have to keep reminding yourself how important your presence is here.

If you see Thamasik/ negative happening in the world, know that you are feeding Tamasik Gun by entertaining unnecessary thoughts, worrying about your past and future by being fearful.

And at the same time if you are seeing good things around, that is also because you are feeding SathvikGun by being happy, practicing being in the present, developing the qualities like acceptance, forgiveness and spreading Love and Love alone.

Protect the Dharma (righteousness) by practicing it in your every thought, word and action. Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitaha. That is the only way to bring balance in the universe.

If you are praying “Samastha Loka Sukhino Bhavantu “ that means you have surrendered your thoughts to the highest .You can not be judgmental about anyone or anything  as you are already praying for the wellbeing of all. You should let the universe fulfill your prayer by not blocking its flow with unnecessary thoughts, words or actions.

Concentrate on your existence, you are the greatest miracle of the universe. Love is your strength. I’m always with you, Blessings

My beloved Tulsi, this picture is not about who you are,  it is about how beautifully you accept every word of Amma.

You all are different forms of love. Blessings

ADI KAILASH

Adi Kailash is the sacred mountain located in the Himalayan mountain range in the Pitoragarh district of UttarKhand, India. Adi Kailash is the abode of Lord Shiva, his consort Parvati devi and their children Ganpati and Kartikeya. The region around the peak is peaceful, soothing and incredibly beautiful. At the bottom of the mighty peak exists a lake called Gauri Kund which beautifully mirrors the Adi Kailash. Parvati Sarovar is another lake near the peak.

Our history says that when Sati reincarnated as Parvati, Lord Shiva halted at this very point along with His ‘Baraat’ (marriage procession). What a blissful sight would that be to witness!

While all of us were covered in layers of winter clothes, Amma walked on the snow, barefoot in her Cotton Saree. In a condition where we would have thought we might need oxygen cylinders, the Mother silently made sure all of us were more than comfortable and we played our very own ‘Holi’ with Bhasma. Most of us were teary eyed with gratitude to the Universe and Amma for honoring us with her Aura at her Divine Abode.

As Amma sat leaning against the majestic Trishul with Her eyes closed, we wholeheartedly sang bhajans. Amma transported each one of us to a different dimension while we were in Her divine abode Kailash

Partishwari:

Though we went to have darshan of Kailasavasi at the snow bed, we all were merged and soaked in the Highest Ultimate Truth of the Universe who was with us.  Our minds and hearts were merged with Amma alone.

For me it was a moment that I wish to keep frozen forever. Having Amma’s darshan in the snow and a huge Trishul behind took me to a different world. I blissfully without thought  wanted to grab & embrace that very second of Divine Darshan, Sparshan and Sambhashan.  It drove me so emotionally that I wept my heart out while hugging Amma until we reached Kuti village two hours later or till I received that warm hug from Amma again who was in Samadhi state, opened her eyes only to respond to my intense feeling. My only prayer at that time to Amma was to always keep me with her.

Sharing the small video with all cherish that scene! Thank you Arun Brother for capturing those unfolding moments for all of us.

Kutti Village

Day 8 : Highest Truth In Snowy Landscapes

Nirmala K :

It was the grace of Sri Krishna which made Arjun to have the darshan of Vishvaroop of Lord Krishna and it is the love and compassion of our beloved mother which made me have the Glimpse of her Vishvamatha Roopa.

When we reached Kutty village which was the last stay before heading towards Adi Kailas, that night we were staying in a tent accommodation in the midst of snow mountain. In each tent it was 6 people sharing and 5 of us had taken our places and for our pleasant surprise the 6th one who entered the tent was our beloved Amma.

Amma was sleeping right infront of my bed. Early in the morning I was woken up by the subtle force and what I experienced was something beyond my imagination. I was fully aware of my surroundings yet I couldn’t move my body.  I looked at Amma and that is when I realised that I was witnessing the divine Swaroopa of Mother. For that moment the tent vanished, Amma was looking huge and mesmerising and her right leg had turned blue in colour. There was golden aura all around her and I saw many tiny hands which were in different shapes  pressing Amma’s feet. It looked like they were in competition to reach out to Amma’s feet. I was little concerned and was trying to tell them not to press her leg too hard, as previous night at Nabhi village while sitting near the bonfire Amma had burnt her right leg as it touched the iron stand which was around the fire. I was worried about her leg when I saw many hands were pressing the same leg and I couldn’t utter a single word as my body was not in my control. As you can understand I was fully aware of my physical state and at the same time I was witnessing something which was beyond physical plane. After sometime everything settled to normal.
Later when Amma got up she told us “Do you think only you all are around Amma? All the Yoginis and Ganas are also around mother to serve her at all the time”.

Maya makes us forget who is here with us but out of love and compassion sometimes the divine blows that curtain of Maya for a while to bless us with such vision to have the glimpse of her magnificent form

Rakshith :

The eighth day saw us leave Darchula, heading back to Haldwani. As we were leaving the town of Darchula, there was as sudden landslide just ahead of our vehicle. It led to a small line of vehicles forming one behind another, all waiting for the landslide to abate and the rocks to be cleared. It indeed looked like the boulders were being thrown from a height.

Amma commented that the Shivaganas didn’t want Ma to leave, hence they were throwing stones. Ma beautifully smiled and told them to let us all pass. The landslide ceased instantly. Within a few minutes, the rocks were cleared and we could proceed on our journey.

It was a long drive to Haldwani, with vast scenes of the splendorous Himalayas. As evening came by, the skies began filling with deep and dark rain clouds. As Ma was talking about Shiva, the clouds parted in the distance and the brilliant blue evening sky revealed itself. Ma commented that it was Shiva making His presence known.

It was indeed a blessing to travel with Ma through the entire trip and especially that evening.

Day 9 : Haidakhan Ashram - Completing Adi Kailash Yatra

Haidakhan Baba Ashram

The Haidakhan Temple is adorned at Chidianuala, Ranikhet. The temple is made by Haidakhan who is believed to be the incarnation of Lord Shiva, to whom the temple is dedicated. One can meditate in the peaceful surroundings of this temple which is set in tranquil and enchanting landscapes.

ARUN – My experience throughout the yatra capturing every moment of Amma’s only brought me immense and pure joy. However, in Haidakhan it was a mix of emotions as I saw mother hiding her tears and realized that our loving Mother is on a silent mission: Shakti Yuga.

While returning from Haidakhan a sage was sitting near the entrance gate. He was wearing saffron with Vibhuti Kumkum on his forehead. He was telling the local shop keepers that Aaj Mayya agayi  Haidhakhan (Today Mother has come to Haidakhan). Amma blessed all of them with Padhanamaskar.

Day 10 : Back To Bangalore

The last day of the Yatra saw us travelling back to Bangalore. We travelled to Pantnagar early in the morning for our flight to New Delhi. After a brief stop in New Delhi, we were on the final leg of our journey. Landing in Bangalore was a bittersweet moment for all of us, for we all wanted to continue the Yatra in one form or another.

As the physical yatra with our Divine Mother came to a close, we were all basking in the Inner glow of Love and Divinity. From the close proximity to Amma, as well as the highly charged spiritual places we had visited, had left a long and lasting impression on all of us. A silent moment of contemplation and one is able to relive the Divine Leelas and memories.

It is with immense gratitude and love that we thank our Divine Amma for this Yatra.

Jagruta Shakti doesn’t own the audio. Audio credits goes to respective owners. These videos are purely made out of love for Amma, and will not be used for profit or illegal sharing.
