Kaliyug has reduced the quality of everything with it’s Thamasik energy. It has reduced the quality of Nature as well as the nature of humans. The most toughest challenge for Kaliyug is to attack on the “Love of a Mother”. When mother takes over then there is nothing that can come against her. Quality of nature means, everything that you see in matter is not in its paripakva(fullest) form. The colour of the leaves to the taste of the fruits, the rythym of Vaayu(wind) to spark of fire, none of them are in their fullest form in Kaliyug. If you ask me how I know then ask your inner voice and it will echo in you saying “who else will know other than MOTHER herself”
